Appointment Scheduling and Cancellation Policies
All services offered by Advanced Animal Care including vaccinations, nail trims, and suture removal are by appointment only. We do our best to give each and every patient the time and attention they deserve and are able to do this with scheduled appointment times. We do require all patients seen in our office to be up to date on their rabies and distemper parvo vaccinations. This is to protect the health and safety of our other patients and staff. To ensure that our doctors are able to see patients in need, we do have a 24hr cancellation policy for all surgeries. All surgical appointments that do not call ahead to cancel within 24hrs or patients that do not show for their appointment time, are subject to a fee totalling 50% of that services cost.
Prescription Refill Policies
Advanced Animal Care is happy to offer an online pharmacy, as well as offer shipping to our out of town clients to make getting prescription refills as easy as possible. Please be aware that all patients must be up to date on all vaccinations, and have had an annual wellness examination and any necessary diagnostics performed by their veterinarian in order for us to refill these medications.
Unmanageable dog policy
Please note that not all dogs like coming to the veterinarian. If you think your dog may need medication prior to their visit please let our staff know at the time you are booking the appointment. We would be happy to send medication for anxiety, fear or aggression so it is a pleasant experience for you, your dog and our staff. If your animal is unmanageable while in our facility we will not be able to provide the needed services for your pet and will need to refuse service. We value your pets emotional well-being and want this to be a pleasant experience for all involved.
